Shadows themselves are deceptive. They conceal the details of a body, stripping away the features we usually fixate on—the way eyes sit on a face, the shape of a nose, height, size, or even skin colour.
Through this project, I want to explore that tension between perception and truth, surface and depth. Shadows can both reveal and deceive. They remind us that what we first see-whether in art, in people, or online- is often just an impression. To truly understand requires us to look closer, begond the outline, into the fragments that shape identity. In an era when so much of life is reduced to silhouettes and impressions, this project is about reclaiming the messy, layered, and very human details that make us real.
